The Axioplan 2 Pol is a modular transmitted light and incident light polarizing microscope with a pyramid design and ICS optics (ICS = Infinity Color-corrected System). Its main features include the new Pol nosepiece for 6 objectives, the new intermediate tube with an additional intermediate image plane for orthoscopy and conoscopy, an extensive line of accessories for orthoscopic and conoscopic methods and a wide range of compensators.
