M2 Mat microscope brings an exciting new dimension to materials microscopy. Designed in collaboration with Kramer Scientific, the M2 MAT uniquely combines stereo macro and compound micro imaging capabilities in one microscope. This ability to combine the ergonomics of stereo observation and high-resolution microscopic observation in a single microscope offers enormous improvements in time management for the materials professional, whether it be in Research and Development labs, Failure Analysis or Quality Assurance departments in the manufacturing sector. Now you can sort through a number of samples and then pivot the objective system to high magnification for detailed observation. No need to move your sample to another scope! If you work with large numbers of small samples, such as looking at tiny connections on circuit boards or defects or in-homogeneities in ceramic, glass, metal or plastics, the M2 MAT is the right choice for you. Other applications include: geology, automotive, textile, fiber optic, microelectronic/ MEMS, failure analysis, corrosion studies, fitting and connections, and composite materials.
